Kate Morton

I started my career in Advertising, then shifted into FMCG Marketing and later into Sales, with roles in Australia, the US and back home in New Zealand. I was ambitious, strategic beyond my years, smart and determined – and I was quickly promoted into leadership roles. At age 29 I was appointed as Head of Wrigley New Zealand, then moved into their parent company, Mars Inc. as New Zealand Sales Director, heading up a team of over 200 people. I also had two beautiful children, and took on the new challenge of balancing career and motherhood. 

I’d achieved everything I’d set out to do and yet I was deeply unhappy and sick. I was burnt out and had no choice but to leave everything I’d worked for to recover my physical wellbeing and find a purpose that felt meaningful and sustainable.

Coaching changed my life. I was fortunate to be supported with Executive Coaching for many years in my corporate roles. My coaching journey has seen me reconnect with my authentic self, have the courage to leave everything I knew with no idea of where I was heading, end the anxiety and self-doubt that plagued me, and reach a place of self-belief and confidence.

My passion is growing and developing people. People are far more capable than they know, often they just need some help to navigate through challenges, understand who they really are and what their strengths are. Through my coaching practice I support people to accelerate their growth, find their self-confidence and be more effective and satisfied, both in their professional and personal lives.

My superpower is seeing things in a way that others don’t. I have a strong sense of what the real issues are, ask the right questions to really understand a situation, and communicate that back in a way that is concise and impactful. I support people and businesses wanting to transform from a place of authenticity, emotional connection and humanity.
